Deepening the Pilot Program for Women Entrepreneurs and Cultivating a Team of High-level Women Entrepreneurs – Jiangsu Women’s Federation held a special research activity on the empowerment of high-quality development of new productive forces

Shi Yupai emphasized the Provincial Women’s Federation’s commitment to driving the Women Entrepreneurs Leadership Initiative. The program aimed to deepen understanding and urgency for developing advanced productivity tailored to local contexts. It encouraged women entrepreneurs to capitalize on strategic opportunities, identify key growth areas, and foster new drivers and advantages for development. Participants were urged to engage deeply with the learning process, uphold rigorous standards, and gain a comprehensive understanding of advanced productivity’s multifaceted benefits. The goal was to inspire women entrepreneurs to lead their companies through transformative changes and high-quality growth, adopting broader perspectives and more innovative thinking. The Federation called for enhanced practical support from women’s organizations at all levels to advance the Women Entrepreneurs Leadership Initiative, actively address challenges, and contribute valuable insights, nurturing a powerhouse of women business leaders in the province.

It is reported that this training course is a specific measure for the Provincial Women’s Federation to implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech on the work of Jiangsu and the relevant decisions and deployments of the Provincial Party Committee. When General Secretary Xi Jinping participated in the deliberations of the Jiangsu delegation at the second session of the 14th National People’s Congress, he proposed to “develop new quality productive forces according to local conditions”. In late March, according to the unified deployment of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Women’s Federation took the lead in carrying out the sub-topic research of “Deepening Employment and Entrepreneurship Women’s Action and Promoting the Pilot Plan for Women Entrepreneurs”, and is committed to building a group of high-energy women entrepreneurs with the characteristics of “five heavy” who are patriotic, dedicated, and innovative, law-abiding and honest, repay social responsibility, and look to the world. This research activity is one of the transformation of research results, to build a platform for high-level female entrepreneurs in the province to have in-depth exchanges with leading enterprises in advanced manufacturing industry and representative enterprises in the development of new quality productivity, and to lead and serve women entrepreneurs to contribute to the new practice of promoting Chinese-style modernization in Jiangsu.

This study conscientiously implemented the “first lesson” system of the opening class, focused on learning the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on the work of women and children and Xi Jinping’s economic thought, systematically studied General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on new quality productivity, and studied the innovation and development of China’s digital economy and artificial intelligence, innovative thinking and innovation management.

The research activity organized women entrepreneurs to go to Gree, Huawei, Tencent, BYD and other advanced manufacturing leading enterprises and representative enterprises of emerging industries to carry out in-depth exchanges, and went to Qianhaishi Party History Education Base and Humen Fort Patriotism Education Base for on-site teaching.
